FTMO Review (2026)
In short: FTMO is the largest and longest-running prop firm in the space, with a strong payout track record, up to a 90% profit split, and no time limit on its evaluations. Its trade-offs: a higher 10% first-phase target than some newer rivals, and payouts that aren't published on-chain, so you can't independently verify them. Prices start around $85.

How the FTMO evaluation works
FTMO offers a 1-step and a 2-step route. On the 2-step, you hit a 10% target in Phase 1, then a 5% target in verification, staying inside a 5% max daily loss and 10% max overall loss. There's no time limit, so you're never forced to overtrade to beat a clock.
Payouts
Funded traders keep up to 90% of profit, paid through several methods including bank wire and crypto. FTMO's years of payout history are its single biggest advantage over any newer firm. What it doesn't offer is on-chain verifiable payouts — you trust the dashboard rather than checking a transaction hash yourself.
